Hi! My name is Violet, I'm a transgender woman living in Germany who is only slightly obsessed with ponies ^_^

About two months ago, I took the advice of one of my closest friends (Cwossie), and decided to take up drawing. I always thought I had the artistic talent of a tomato, so I figured this would probably end up being an exercise in embarrassment. But, to my surprise and delight, I discovered what everyone says actually IS true: Anyone can draw, if they're willing to put the time and effort into it!

I mostly just do pencil sketches at the moment. It's an easy and forgiving medium to work with, and serves as a good basis for expanding into other realms. I also have been dabbling in digital, though I need a lot more practice there for sure.

I started out drawing mostly ponies, and those are definitely fun to draw, but I'm constantly trying to expand my range. Expect a lot of fan art, and a little furry/anthro stuff as well, as I experiment and explore.

And, yes, I know my user name is ViThePony even though I'm using a deer avatar... just roll with it. I'm still a pony at heart, I just feel more like a doe right now.

Watch this space for commissions. I want to do them, but I'm still working on building up the confidence I need to put the offer out there. If you really want to commission me anyway, drop me a line, and we'll talk it over.
